On Wednesday the 7th we hosted 47 students and 4 staff from Colleg Glynllifon on two farm tours.
The agricultural students enjoyed a visit to one of our contract calf rearing units that is owned and run by our director Rob Manning and then to a bull beef finishing AFU.
The visits aimed to give an overview of calf rearing and finishing TB restricted beef cattle. The farms visited also farm sheep and chickens and the AFU cereals and potatoes giving the students access to farmers with a vast knowledge base.
