On the 18th November 2022, along with Genus ABS we hosted a Beef Open Day to celebrate #GBCalfWeek.
We had a fantastic turnout of old and new faces from the dairy and beef sectors, along with industry bodies and our hosts at Warham.
The event took place at a 500 head Beef Finishing Unit that MQ supply with feed-efficient reared calves.
Our guests had the opportunity to see the Intergado hardware that collects the data from our tri-party project, the Genus ABS genetics, and the financial and physical outcomes of this project.
The day’s objective was to showcase the importance of identifying genetics that increase performance and efficiency in the beef and dairy supply chains, whilst reducing its carbon footprint.
