We have sold our pigs though Meadow Quality for over 20 years. They are regular visitors to our Farm and have a good understanding of the operation of our units and the particular ethos under which we operate This has enabled them over the years to achieve the best returns possible for us, either by seeking out and initiating new and better markets for the sale of our pigs or negotiating to gain the best price possible from our existing contracts; both during the good times and the bad. We have seen their representative fight our corner with processors on many occasions, sometimes going above and beyond what you would traditionally expect from a Marketing Group. We appreciate the service we receive from them and would highly recommend them to any pig producer.

I have 220 Suffolk X Mule ewes, lambing in March and producing finished lambs from July to December, with over 20 years of trading experience. I enjoy producing quality lambs and the grading information which I receive from Meadow Quality ensures that high standards are continually achieved. Meadow Quality provide a good and reliable service and I particularly appreciate the benefits of their Collection Centre.

We have sold our calves to Meadow Quality for over 6 years. It is easier and more relaxed than going to market and we get a consistant price all year round. We get paid on time every time too!

“Rearing for Meadow Quality gives us confidence in our calf enterprise, as they have already marketed the calves, which means we are never stuck with unsold calves.
We get a consistent supply of healthy calves which haven’t spent all day at market. Robin Bebb, our Meadow Quality fieldsman, is always on hand with his extensive knowledge and experience if we have any problems, and regularly visits us on farm”

I have 300 ewes – 150 Scots half bred ewes crossed with a Suffolk to produce ewe lambs for my own flock and to sell on as replacements and 150 Suffolk X Scots half breed crossed with a Charollais. Creep fed lambs are sold during June and July, with the remainder being sold off grass after harvest. In addition, one of the Meadow Quality lamb collection centres is based on my farm.
I have traded with Meadow Quality since 1989 when I took over the farm from my father, at the age of 19. I like the security of the company and the service it provides and have watched it develop over the years.
